Nationally-based engineering company Beck & Pollitzer has installed a new 800 tonne Zani press at fellow Made in the Midlands member Sertec Heavy Stamping at their Coleshill facility.
The Zani 800t press has been installed to increase capacity at the facility which is primarily focussed on the automotive sector.
Sertec selected Beck & Pollitzer as their preferred lifting and installation provider due to their previous work they had completed at one of Sertec’s site in Eastern Europe.
The 800t transfer press has a base of 54 tonnes and a crown weight of 80 tonnes. Beck & Pollitzer will be using their specialist expertise and equipment to lift the main item into position. The equipment includes 500 tonne power tower and 40/60 versalift.
Beck & Pollitzer has strong record of installing presses and other machines and equipment into the automotive industry and many other sectors.
